| FAQs | How Many Treatments? The number of treatments needed varies from person to person depending on wants, needs, and the degree to which skin aging has occurred. For most patients, it is recommended that they undergo a treatment course of 4–6 sessions. Once the results you want have been achieved, subsequent sessions may be needed to maintain the results. Skin aging is an ongoing process. Fortunately, the treatment can be performed whenever your skin needs rejuvenation. What Happens During the Treatment? Before the treatment, you will need to completely clean your skin with a cleanser to remove any lotions, makeup, or other substances on the skin. This ensures that the treatment will be able to achieve the best results possible. NeoSkin is typically performed in two steps. The first step is to globally treat the skin you want to be addressed, which is commonly the face, neck, or chest. This step will stimulate the formation of collagen to improve overall tone and texture. The second step addresses more specific skin concerns and will vary from patient to patient. These are typically spider veins, redness, acne, or dark spots of hyperpigmentation. The laser energy will be concentrated on these areas of concern. Depending on the size of the affected area, treatments typically take between 15–40 minutes. What Does NeoSkin Feel Like? Most patients who have tried other lasers report that NeoSkin is much gentler and more pleasant. Typically, you will only feel a mild warming sensation on the skin when undergoing treatment. And unlike other rejuvenation treatments, NeoSkin has no side effects, requires no downtime, and is completely non-invasive. This means you will not have prolonged redness and will be able to continue your normal daily activities right away. How Long After my Treatment Can I Return to My Normal Activities? There is no “downtime” following NeoSkin treatments. You may return to your normal daily activities immediately, though as with any laser treatment, you should wear a sunblock recommended by your skin care professional and avoid direct sunlight. You may experience slight redness in the skin, but (if occurs at all) it will fade within a few hours. When Will I See Results? Skin continues to age every single day. Once you achieve the results you desire the length of time until you need more treatment sessions may depend on your genetics, sun exposure, environmental factors, and lifestyle. It is recommended that you receive a maintenance treatment every six months for extended results. It is also recommended that you commit to wearing sunscreen every day and that you follow an at-home skincare regimen. Step 1

Step 2

Aftercare
An at-home skin care regimen including face wash, a moisturizer, and sun protection should be followed as directed by your treatment provider. It is important to remember that skin always continues to age. Once you achieve the results you are looking for from your first round of treatments, future maintenance should be scheduled with your provider. This will vary from person to person and lasting effects will vary depending on factors that are specific to genetics and lifestyle.
